PARAMUS, NJ — A woman was killed in a hit-and-run Thursday morning while walking along Forest Avenue in Paramus, according to multiple reports. ABC7 New York and Northjersey.com report police are now searching for the driver, and an investigation, led by the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, is underway. Paramus Police did not immediately return a request for comment, but posted on Facebook Thursday morning that Forest Avenue between Soldier Hill and Ridgewood Avenue were closed due to a motor vehicle accident.
